Orlando International Airport in a nutshell

Orlando International Airport is the busiest airport of Florida, processing some 35 million passengers a year. There is one terminal, which is divided into four so-called 'airsides'. From the central hall the airsides can be reached via a 'people mover' (cabins that are drawn by a cable). The airport is located to the south-east of Orlando.

There is no train connection to the airport. On the north side there are luxury Lynx buses for the centre of Orlando. In addition, there are shuttle buses to various connections, although not to the theme parks.

In the terminal building there is a hotel, where most of the business facilities in the airport are located as well. The hotel has some 34 office and conference rooms, as well as five VIP Lounges. Orlando Airport has an extensive supply of shops and places to eat and drink. There are various restaurants, snack bars, grillrooms, fast-food chains, coffee shops and delicatessens. There is also a broad array of duty-free products. The airport offers various services: banks, exchange offices, cash machines and a post office. There are also Internet kiosks, massage parlours and a barber. Wireless Internet is available all over the airport.
