Manchester Airport is located 17 kilometers southwest of Manchester. It's the third busiest airport in Great Britain, only London Heathrow Airport and London Gatwick Airport are busier. The airport handles more than 22 million passengers annually. Manchester Airport has three terminals.
The airport has excellent rail and bus connections to Manchester and a combined bus and train station (The Station). Manchester Airport is situated on the motorway and therefore easily accessible by car. There are three hotels at the airport.
