Naples Airport in a nutshell
Aeroporto Internazionale di Napoli, as this airport is called in Italian, has two terminals. Terminal 1 is the most important one, Terminal 2 is used exclusively for chartered flights. The two terminals are within walking distance of each other. The airport is located 7 kilometres to the north-east of Naples and is easy to reach from the centre by car. Another way you can leave the airport is by a (shuttle) bus that takes the passengers directly to the train station and to the centre of Naples.
At the airport there are no hotels, but you will be able to find one in the immediate environment. There is a fair number of shops, often specialised in regional products like fresh mozzarella, local wines and sweets. As far as food and drinks are concerned, there are three snackbars, a café, a Burger King and a self service restaurant. For businesses you need to go to the first floor. There you will find fully equipped offices, video-conferencing facilities and two VIP-lounges. Other facilities are: a Red Cross medical centre, banks, exchange offices, ATM's and a ticket counter where you can buy last-minute airline tickets.
