Ibiza Airport is very busy in the peak season (May to October), and at other times it is fairly quiet. To give an indication: 85% of all passengers are processed during the peak season. It is located some seven kilometres to the south-west of Ibiza-City (Eivissa).
The airport is easy to reach by car, there is only one road that leads to the airport. There are buses to Ibiza-City every half an hour between 7.20 am and 10.20 pm. There is no lack of hotels on this tourist island. There are some hotels to the east of the airport.
There are not many shops. With regard to food, there are a few snack bars, cafés and fastfood restaurants. There is a conference room that can be rented. In addition, there is a money exchange office, a bank, and there are ATM machines, as well as a post office.
