General information

Dijon Train Station, or 'Dijon Ville' as it's officially called, is located in the east of France in the department of Côte d’Or. Dijon Station lies on the TGV line Paris (1 hour and 40 minutes) – Marseille, but you can also travel towards Switzerland by TGV. The station is only a 5-minute walk from the center. The city center displays a mixture of architectural styles resulting in a varied image.

Transportation

Taxis can be found outside the station, but city buses also run to the center. For interregional buses you need to go to Transco/EFFIA. The bus stops are outside the station. Do you want to rent a car at Dijon Station? No problem. You can choose from different car rental companies, including Avis, National, Europcar, and Hertz. They can all be found at the station. Parking in front of the station is allowed up to 20 minutes to pick up and drop off passengers. The long-term (paid) parking lot is also located in front of the station.

Services

The station has Wi-Fi and there's an information desk for tourists. In addition you can find a lost-and-found desk, phone booths, restrooms, soft-drink dispensers, a passport photo booth, and a machine to have your holiday photos developed on-site.

Restaurants

Outside the station you can find a Quick fast-food restaurant. Perfect for a quick bite. Inside the station you'll find a bistro restaurant and a café. For more options, you need to leave the station and keep to your right. On the Avenue Maréchal you'll find a large number of restaurants, hotels, and bars.

Shops

Besides a supermarket, you'll find two branches of the French Relay chain at the station with a large selection of magazines, newspapers, and books.
