General information

Aosta Station is the central station of Aosta in the valley of the same name in the northwest of Italy at the foot of the Alps. The main destinations are: Turin, Chivasso, Ivrea and Pré-Saint-Didier (F). The station is situated on the southern side of the city on the Piazza Innocence Manzetti. The center lies a few hundred meters away. In this old Roman city you can still find many remainders from the Roman times. The old city walls are largely intact and there's a real Roman amphitheater.

Transportation

Do you want to explore the surroundings and visit for example the Gran Paradiso National Park or are you a bit more adventurous and you want to go rafting, kayaking, climbing or hiking through the mountains? You can find taxis and city buses in front of and next to the exit of Aosta Train Station on the Piazza Innocence Manzetti. Or do you prefer to rent a car in Aosta? You'll find Europcar at the station.

Services

At the station you can buy tickets from ticket offices or machines. The railroad police can be found in a small building next to the main building.

Restaurants

There are several ways to make waiting for your train more pleasant. Aosta Train Station has for example a bistro restaurant and a café.

Shops

There are a tobacconist and a shop selling magazines.
